I'm going to pitch a fan theory, one which might be proven or disproven next week.
Teddy is the Scare Bear .
1. Never heard Scare Bear's voice.
2. Their physical build and strength seem similar.
3. If you're in the same mental ward as Myra Brandish, you're probably a serious threat.
4. General bear motif.
5. Scare Bear was generally harmless and helpful to Hank, possibly because they've met before.

Scare Bear was introduced in the Season 4 episode Bright Lights, Dean City as one of the hopefuls auditioning for The Revenge Society at Impossible Plaza in New York City. At that time Teddy was still in Dunwitch Asylum in Colorado and wouldn't be freed until the Season 5 episode Momma's Boys, where he escaped on foot near Bygone Gulch. All subesequent appearances of Scare Bear have also been in New York City, nowhere near the asylum. This theory seems unlikely.

Is there some sort reference in this character to the Simpson's character Leon Kompowsky or am I just imagining to much there. - In the episode "Stark Raving Dad" Homer is locked in a mental institution and befriends a guy who thinks he is Michael Jackson (and sounds just like him). Anyway the role was uncredited and years later it was revealed the character was voiced by Michael Jackson. 45.30.160.201 15:11, July 2, 2020 (UTC) some dude
