Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture

Skye is a minor recurring character on The Venture Bros. She has appeared in several episodes but has yet to have a speaking role.

Character History[edit | edit source]

Skye was a raver that Dr. Venture fell for while on ecstasy.[1] They met during his responsibility-avoiding trip around the world following the deaths of his cloned sons, Hank and Dean.

Dr. Venture was dancing at a rave with Skye when Brock Samson finally tracked him down. Brock asserted that Dr. Venture needed to come home, with Venture responding that he wanted to stay with his "new family and their feel-good candy."

Brock insisted that Dr. Venture needs to return to his responsibilities, with Venture protesting, "No, Brock. No! This is Skye. We’re going to have a child! Please…" Dr. Venture passed out as he spoke from the sedative Brock had just injected into him. Brock carried Dr. Venture away, leaving Skye behind at the rave.

Much later, Dr. Venture and Billy Quizboy traveled to New York City to find the Orb.[2] Billy convinced Dr. Venture they needed to wear disguises, with Billy in a homemade "Quizboy" costume and Dr. Venture in his childhood "Rusty Venture, boy adventurer" outfit. Rusty's old clothes were all far too small now, garnering funny looks from Skye and her male companion as they walked by Dr. Venture and Billy.

Skye was seen in the background walking out of the movie theater following a showing of Rings of the Realm attended by Dean, Hank, Sergeant Hatred, Henchman 21, and the Fluttering Horde.[3] She walked arm-in-arm with a young man in a casual suit, apparently her date, who differed from the male companion in New York.

Skye and her male companion in the fringed jacket walked past Dean Venture while he was taking a lunch break from his internship at Impossible Industries in New York City.[4]
