Shrill Spector was a friend of Dr. Z who went on a month-long bender with him and Scary Nilsson in 1977. While on said bender, they decided to visit the Venture Compound to commit vandalism and arch Jonas Venture Sr. There they found the broken down Venturion, which Dr. Z. stole and rebuilt into Vendata.

- Shrill Spector is a parody of record producer, musician, and songwriter Phil Spector. Originally gaining fame for developing his signature "Wall of Sound" approach to music production, his pioneering studio techniques cemented his place as one of the most influential people in the history of pop music. Later in his life, however, Phil Spector became notorious for the 2003 death of actress Lana Clarkson, of which he was convicted of second degree murder.
