Based on the real world musician of the same name, Klaus Nomi was a bodyguard of the Sovereign in the world of the Venture Bros.. However, in Showdown at Cremation Creek (Part I) he defects to the service of Phantom Limb. His associate Iggy Pop seemingly disintegrates the Sovereign, only leaving behind a pack of cigarettes. Iggy Pop picks up the pack and later attempts to smoke them, though it turns out the cigarette pack was merely a disguise for the Sovereign. In Showdown at Cremation Creek (Part II) the Sovereign assumes his true form and pushes Iggy off a Guild Wasp helicopter, where he presumably meets his death. Meanwhile, the Sovereign assumes Iggy's form to get the jump on Klaus. By the time that Klaus realizes the deception and uses his sonic scream, the Sovereign has his put his hand on his mouth, causing Klaus to inflate as a balloon and then burst.
Powers and Abilities
Klaus displayed a number of powers, such as a sonic scream and flight. His tuxedo functioned as a sort of plastic armor, repelling The Monarch's punches. In addition, Klaus' bow tie could launch as a projectile weapon.
