Character History

A minor character debuting in the episode Ghosts of the Sargasso, Jeanie was the wife of Major Tom, an experimental jet pilot and member of the Original Team Venture. He died in 1969 piloting the TVC-15 jet when it crashed into the Bermuda Triangle. Some time later, Jeanie married the Action Man.

Many years later, Doctor Thaddeus Venture inadvertently reanimated Tom as a restless undead corpse. The Venture Family called Jeanie to talk with the spirit and put it to rest. However, The Action Man interrupted the conversation. In a rude and almost unsympathetic tone, and said that he had married Jeanie. The ghost was set off even worse, but Brock Samson quickly dispatched Tom's ghost with his trademark violence.

Relationship with The Action Man

The bulk of their relationship is relatively unknown. It is established that prior to their marriage The Action Man was a drug addict and womanizer. He is seen at one time yelling at Jeanie for not being able to find his knee pads, which at the very least hints that he had a bit of a temper.

Jeanie is deceased before the events of The Devil's Grip, leaving The Action Man to pursue other romantic interests. When he attempts to pursue Rose Whalen, she's at first turned off due to the rumors of his womanizing ways. He protests, claiming that had been true of his younger self but that he settled down when he got married to Jeanie and had been faithful to her up to her death.
