Force Majeure was a supervillain on The Venture Bros. He was the head of The Council of 13 of The Guild of Calamitous Intent until he was killed by The Sovereign.
While not much is known about him, it was revealed in the Venture Bros. Movie, Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart that he was Jonas Venture, Sr.'s primary archenemy. Jonas and the O.S.I, sent Bobbi St. Simone to spy on him. However, they fell in love, got married, and had a daughter named Debra.
He was eventually killed by The Sovereign who wanted to take his place as the head of The Guild, causing Bobbi and his daughter to go into hiding.

- The Sovereign told Phantom Limb that he originally slew Force Majeure and usurped his position in The Guild to seize control of The Council of 13.[1]
- Force Majeure's base of operations was Meteor Majeure, a satellite orbiting the Earth. It was inspired by Asteroid M, the one-time base of the Marvel Comics supervillain Magneto.
- In 1968, Force Majeure held the Boys Brigade for ransom on Meteor Majeure. The team of youths included Professor Impossible, Phantom Limb, and General Manhowers.[2]
- The legal term force majeure means an unavoidable chance occurrence that prevents one or more of the parties to a contract from fulfilling their contractual obligations.
- Force Majeure is also the title of the twelfth album by German electronic musicians Tangerine Dream, originally issued on transparent vinyl. It was a departure from the band's previous Krautrock output, moving them more toward the prog rock genre.
- According to Doc Hammer, Force Majeure was originally meant to have a bigger role in Season 8 of the show but due to its cancellation his role was scrapped in favor of his daughter Debra St. Simone in the movie.[3]
