Dog-Man (as he is referred to in the voice credits) is a one-off character and antagonist in The Venture Bros. episode Venture Libre. He is a lab-created dog-man and a member of U.R.G.H, serving as one of Venturestein's revolutionary soldiers. As such, he resides in Puerto Bahia.
Character History
At some point, he was liberated from the abuse of his scientist by Venturestein and join his army of abominations in freeing their brethren from the same pain in the jungles of Puerto Bahia.
He first appears in Venture Libre where he along with Boar-Man and Karl, are among the hunting party to capture Thaddeus Venture and Sgt. Hatred. Later on, Dog-Man was part of the rebellion against Venturestein due to him keeping his scientist alive despite his crime of killing one of their people, as well as him wanting to bring more abominations to their area without considering where to put them. They soon decide to deal with a more pressing matter: "The Bat", a creature that had been terrorizing them
However, Dog-Man is later terrorized and knocked out by The Bat, who manages to free Dr. Venture and Hatred. Dog-Man is part of Karl's party that chases the Venture Family to the shores of Puerto Bahia, but they are ultimately thwarted by the timely intervention of H.E.L.P.eR.
Dr. Venture orders his robot to kill the abominations. However, he is interrupted by the arrival of boatloads of abominations and Venturestein, who is overjoyed that his message got through to others like him.
The group bear witness to the arrival of Congresswoman Marsha Backwood, who soon explodes due to picking up the jPad. Dr. Venture brings her back as a Venturestein and she is later seen representing the abominations at the United Nation. The Venture Family watch her speech on television, showing that they are okay--most likely due to helping the cause of U.R.G.H.
