Bobbie Saint Simone is a character who has been mentioned but never shown on The Venture Bros. She is apparently the mother of Hank and Dean Venture.
Character History
Throughout their lives Hank and Dean Venture always wondered who their mother was. Their father, Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture, assured them that they had a mother but never told them anything about her when they were growing up. At one point he noted aloud that he'd never told them about their mother, but was interrupted before he could say anything further and apparently didn't bring up the subject again.[1]
During Season 4, when Dr. Venture knew the boys were about to get their minds wiped by S.P.H.I.N.X., he took the opportunity to tell them some secrets about their past. He first revealed to them that they were clones, then he mentioned their mother.[2]
While unconscious in Stuyvesant University Medical Center, Hank met his godfather The Action Man in a purgatory-like shared coma world and learned that his real mother was an actress named Bobbi Saint Simone.[3] After Bobbi and Dr. Venture became romantically entangled he apparently turned obsessive and emotionally smothered her until she stopped taking his calls, changed her name, and moved to another state.
Her current name and whereabouts are unknown.
